We are grateful to Capital One for once again including American Recovery Service in the Capital One Golf Classic and giving our team the opportunity to support organizations making a difference for young people and families. For nearly 18 years, ARS has been fortunate to participate in this event alongside Capital One and its business partners. Throughout that history, the Golf Classic has supported Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County and Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas. Both organizations provide programs, relationships, and resources that create opportunities for young people throughout the region.
Supporting Young People Through Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County
Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County provides safe and supportive spaces for children and teens. Its programs include academic support, mentoring, leadership development, STEM, athletics, arts, health, and career preparation. The Clubs give young people places to learn, connect, and build skills outside the classroom. For ARS, our connection to the Boys & Girls Clubs also carries special meaning. Our involvement in the Capital One Golf Classic first introduced our team to the organization and its mission. That introduction eventually grew into continued support of Boys & Girls Club programs in our local communities. It is something we remain thankful for today.
Supporting Girls Across the Dallas Community
Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas provides mentoring and educational programs designed to help girls develop skills and confidence for their futures. Its programs include STEM, financial literacy, leadership development, college readiness, career exploration, and health education.
Capital One’s relationship with Girls Inc. also extends beyond the Golf Classic. The organization has supported experiences that connect participants with career opportunities, financial education, mentors, and hands on learning. These programs represent the work happening throughout the year behind the organizations highlighted during the tournament.
An Opportunity to Give Back Together
We value our business relationships at ARS. We also appreciate the opportunities those relationships create outside our daily work.
The Capital One Golf Classic is one of those opportunities. Capital One has continued to bring its partners together around a shared purpose while directing attention and support toward organizations serving local young people. We are thankful to be included. For ARS, giving back is not about recognition. It is about supporting good work where we can and appreciating the partners who give us the opportunity to participate.
Over the years, Capital One has provided many of those opportunities. Our longstanding involvement with this event is especially meaningful because we have seen relationships formed through the Golf Classic grow into other areas of community support. That is one of the lasting benefits of events like this.
Grateful to Continue the Tradition
Our team was pleased to return this year as both a sponsor and participant. We appreciated the opportunity to spend the day with Capital One, fellow business partners, and supporters of Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County and Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas. We also recognize the work required throughout the year by the people behind both organizations. We are grateful to them for the time, care, and commitment they invest in young people across their communities. Most of all, we thank Capital One for continuing to include ARS in this longstanding tradition. These opportunities reinforce something we value deeply. Partnership can mean more than working together in business. It can also mean showing up together for the communities around us.
Learn More and Support Their Work
We encourage others to learn more about the work these organizations are doing and support them directly if they are able.
