On Friday, October 10th, the ARS team joined 36 other groups at Cold Springs Golf & Country Club for the annual Boys & Girls Club of El Dorado County Western Slope “Tee It Up for the Kids” Golf Tournament. It was a day dedicated to supporting local youth and celebrating community partnership.
From the first tee to the final putt, our team, joined by members of our executive leadership, took part in a day of camaraderie, friendly competition, and shared purpose. Events like this remind us that giving back isn’t just a commitment we talk about, it’s something we show up for, together.
Proceeds from the tournament help fund programs that serve more than 600 kids across five Club locations in El Dorado County. The Boys & Girls Club provides after-school care, mentoring, and academic support for children and teens throughout the region.
This year’s tournament also spotlighted, and helped build fiscal support for, an exciting next chapter for the organization: breaking ground in 2026 on “The Landing,” a private 40-acre Sports and Recreation Complex and Teen Center. Once complete, The Landing will feature new baseball and soccer fields, a full gymnasium, outdoor courts, walking trails, and a dedicated teen center offering job skills training and mentorship opportunities.
More than a recreation space, The Landing represents an investment in our community and is an extension of The Boys & Girls Club commitment to helping create safe spaces for young people to grow.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to take part in an event that brings our community together in support of local youth. Participating in the Boys & Girls Club “Tee It Up for the Kids” Tournament is a privilege we truly value. It’s a reminder of how meaningful it is to give back alongside those who share that same purpose.
