Each year, Heroes Night gives us a clear reminder of what it means to show up.

In March 2026, the Boys & Girls Club El Dorado County Western Slope hosted its annual Heroes Night at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. This event continues to serve as the organization’s largest fundraiser, bringing together a community committed to supporting local youth and expanding access to opportunity.

This year’s event carried that same energy, with hundreds of community members coming together in support of more than six hundred children across five club locations.

A Community That Shows Up

This year the American Recovery Service team was proud to once again be part of that community.

As in years past, our team filled multiple tables and showed up alongside partners, colleagues, and friends who share a commitment to giving back. The evening brought together leaders from across the region, all focused on one goal. Supporting kids and creating access to stronger futures.

Events like this are not just about attendance. They are about participation.

From engaging in fundraising efforts to contributing to the overall success of the evening, our team takes pride in being active contributors to a cause that aligns with our values.

Meaningful Impact

The outcome of this year’s event reflects the strength of the community behind it.

Through strong support and a generous matching contribution, Heroes Night delivered meaningful funding that will directly support the Club’s mission and help advance future initiatives, including development of The Landing, a planned sports park and teen center.

This level of engagement continues to move these efforts forward in a real and measurable way.

A Longstanding Commitment

Year after year ARS has supported the Boys & Girls Club as a core philanthropic focus.

That commitment continues because the impact is clear.

Programs like those offered through the Club provide structure, mentorship, and opportunity for young people who need it most. Across the country, organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of America serve millions of children and their families by providing safe environments and development programs that support long term success.

At the local level, that mission becomes personal.

We see the results in the communities we are part of and in the relationships built over time.

Looking Ahead

Heroes Night is a single evening, but its impact extends far beyond one event.

It reflects what can happen when a community comes together with purpose. It is also a reminder that showing up consistently is what drives real progress.

We are grateful to be part of that effort.

And we look forward to continuing our support alongside the Boys & Girls Club and the broader community in the years ahead.
